Ramayan is an epic poem in Telugu. It is believed to be the longest poem in Telugu. It is written in 24,000 words and is split into seven books. It is a religious poem, which is why it is called Ramayan. The word Ramayan is derived from the Sanskrit word ‘Rama’, which means ‘The Story of Rama’.
The story is about the life of Ram. It tells us how he was born, how he grew up, and how he went to Ayodhya to live with his brother. It also tells us how Ravan and his brother, Laxman, came to live in Ayodhya, and how Ravan killed Ram. After the death of his brother, Laxman became the king of Ayodhya.
